We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday at Lupa Durbanville. There were 20 guests. Everything from the service to the food was impeccable. The pricing is extremely worth it too! Dealing with Thabani was an absolute breeze, nothing was too much of an effort for him. The staff were amazing and the night went off perfectly. Thank you Thabani and team, we had a great evening!

We went to Lupa as another nearby Italian restaurant was having a really bad day. What a good choice it turned out to be (in us rather going to Lupa Durbanville). Incidentally, we were regulars at Lupa Westville in Durban), a dependable spot. Here it goes... Immediately greeted at the door, seated and offered drinks quickly, advised of a special that was actually worth the title "special", prawn pasta and pizza 🍕 were lovely 😍, both well-priced, parking galore open and basement, great decor, and attentive staff. Thank you to Fortune for looking after us at our table, and to the GM Mr Dlamini for the free shooters and finding the time to come chat. We will definitely be back soon! January 2025 Mr Dlamini and his colleagues still doing a sterling job. I've added some more images.

Service was exceptional, staff was attentive and our first experience was just great.

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Lupa Osteria Durbanville. The welcome was warm and friendly. We decided to do the 3 course menu for R285 each. We enjoyed the Italian nachos and the Lupa pasta, it was sooo creamy and delicious. My husband ordered the meatballs pasta, he didn't really enjoy it (was a bit bland). The Italian sunset mocktail was so yummy. The service was great and the vibe was so relaxing. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

We recently had a friend's birthday celebration here, and it was wonderful. The decor and lighting was fantastic, it was great to be seated with a view of the kitchen and see the occasional flash of flames as something was flambéed. The atmosphere was so lively, a bit loud and difficult to hear conversations, but it was a Friday night dinner time, so very busy and full to the brim with people, and we were a very large table. The watering staff were extremely helpful and friendly, particularly Kelvin, Oluhle, who served part of our table, and another waitress who's name I sadly cannot remember. Some of our group had another commitment to go to so had to leave earlier, and our waitresses accomodated us with take-away containers and the bill early even during a really busy time. I have to say Lupa is an extremely nice, more on the fancier fine-dining experience, and the price of the meals reflects that. While I might not be able to afford it regularly, I will absolutely be coming back. The food was delicious, the Zangini pasta I had was so incredibly flavorful, with just the nicest hint of heat.
