Our Wines

Lupa made a special trip to Paarl to meet with the award-winning winemakers at Fairview, who have been recognised both locally and internationally for their innovation and proactive approach to winemaking. The Lupa Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, Merlot and Novello Rosso are four well-structured wines that pair perfectly with our delicious food or can be savoured on their own. Expert vintners helped hand-select and blend these premium wines that we know our guests at Lupa will enjoy.

Had my lovely birthday dinner at Lupa and what a treat it was! Our waitress, Sandra, was fabulous and made the evening smooth sailing. The quality of the food was amazing, and the portion sizes were very generous too! Would highly recommend for a dinner out, or to celebrate with friends and family. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff at Lupa who made sure our experience was fantastic x

Food was tasty. Especially the chicken livers. The steak is also good.

Lupa Osteria Durbanville delivers an experience that’s about more than just the food. The restaurant has a stylish, relaxed Italian atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely lunch or dinner with family and friends. The tableside carbonara is undoubtedly the star of the show. Prepared in a giant wheel of Parmesan and finished right in front of you, it’s a theatrical experience that’s entertaining and worth ordering at least once. While the presentation was impressive, the flavour didn’t quite match the spectacle—it was creamy and enjoyable, but I was hoping for a little more depth and richness. The pizza was delicious, with a perfectly crisp base, generous toppings and great flavour. Definitely something I’d order again. Service was excellent from start to finish. The staff were friendly, attentive and made us feel genuinely welcome without being intrusive. Overall, Lupa Osteria offers a memorable dining experience with wonderful ambience, excellent service and a menu that’s well worth exploring. Even though the carbonara didn’t completely live up to its dramatic presentation, we’d happily return to enjoy the pizzas and try more of the menu. A lovely afternoon out, and certainly a restaurant worth visiting in Durbanville.

Went for lunch on Saturday...lovely comfortable booth an dining seating. They have great winter specials ..set menu 3 course for R295 ....and includes full portions . We had the chicken Alfredo pasta , sauce and pasta was delicious, only complaint there could have been more chicken in it ...was very few pieces under 10 pieces we could count them , shared the pizza ...it was a pizza nothing to rave about...the chicken liver were delicious the sauce spicy an with the sourdough bread . The so called nachos bites not that exciting small little balls filled with cheese ..deep fried ..wouldn't order again ..the dessert was out of this world an a meal on its own . Definitely a place I will visit again . Safe am secure parking at the village square. Can also go do aome shopping after Nice place to also have business lunch or meetings ...as private booths
